Hi I'm Ali

I'll be your friendly Joyful Doctor Art Teacher for the day!

I'll walk you through the process of painting your own beautiful picture step-by-step from beginning to end.

No matter how little experience you have, I promise that by the end of the day you'll have a wonderful picture you can be proud of!

What the day involves...

On the day, you'll be guided step-by-step through the process of creating a painting of this beautiful and graceful Great Tit 'flying in'...

Throughout the day there will be plenty of breaks and opportunities to interact and ask questions, to make it the most joyful experience possible for you...

As soon as you book your ticket, we will arrange to send you all the art supplies you need (including watercolour paints, brush and paper) and a list of everything else you'll need on the day, which will all be common household items like a cup of water.

Yes please - I'm in!

Frequently Asked Questions

Question #1 Do I need to be creative?

No!  We will walk you through the process and help you with any tricky bits along the way.  All you need, is to show up and be willing to give it a go!

Question #2 What if I buy a ticket but I can't make it on the day?

Just let us know you can't make it, and we will offer you a choice of a full refund or a place on a future course/event of equal value.

Question #3 Is the whole day online?

Yes - but we'll make sure we take lots of breaks and you can move about and do whatever you need to stay comfortable throughout the day.

Question #4 Will I need to have my video on?

Yes please!  We want to encourage a sense of togetherness and connection, so we encourage you to keep your camera on throughout the day.

Question #5 I came to the last Painting Day - is this one the same?

This day will be very similar to our last Painting Day, still learning to paint, and creating a beautiful painting from scratch - this time a different painting

Question #6 I can't make this date, will there be a recording?

No - we won't be recording the day, but we will be running it again on other dates so watch this space!
